Drupchö (Practice Intensive) - Crestone, CO

Rigdzin Dupa Drupcho

Every winter Elizabeth and her son, Dungse Jampal Norbu, lead a Rigdzin Dupa drupcho at Samten Ling, Mangala Shri Bhuti’s retreat center in Crestone, Colorado.   The focus of this practice intensive is on accumulating 100,000 tsok (feast) offering prayers dedicated to world peace, the longevity of the teacher, a call to the spirit of unbiased compassion towards all beings, spiritual progress on the path, and harmony within the Mangala Shri Bhuti sangha, the larger community of Buddhist practitioners, as well as throughout the world. This program runs simultaneously with the drupcho led by Dzigar Kongtrul Rinpoche at the Mangala Shri Bhuti center near Boulder, CO.

This program is not open to the public. However, during our practice sessions we traditionally collect and include prayer requests. These can be individual requests, for instance for a family member who is ill, or for someone who has passed away. They can also be aspirations for the wellbeing of a particular community or the world at large. If the request concerns an individual it is stronger to have a name. However, if the situation is personal, it is fine to keep the request anonymous.

If you would like to send in a request you can simply email it to:

Requests will be collected through January 25th.
